Timmy R. Hicks

Timmy Ray Hicks, 61, of Pomona, Illinois died on Friday, April 28, 2023 at his home.

He was born June 9, 1961 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Gerald and Verda (Pirtle) Hicks.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Joyce Marie (Hicks) Bradford and Cynthia Kaye (Hicks) Elliott.

He leaves behind to grieve his passing three sisters, Geraldine Jerri Hicks Malone of Grand Haven, Michigan, Carolyn Ann Hicks Taylor of Granite City, Illinois, Shelia Faye Hicks Humphrey, Granite City, Illinois, and brother Jeffrey Allen Hicks of Granite City, Illinois; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, three aunts and two uncles, cousins, special friend Tracey, and granddaughter Emma and many other friends and extended family to mourn his loss.

Tim was a great lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.  His career was that of a carpenter and he helped with many projects that were blessings to others, always willing to lend a hand when it came to building.

Final Arrangements have been Entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services.
