Veronica L. Rice

Veronica Rice of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on November 29, 2021 at her home. She was born on September 20, 1965, in East St Louis, IL to Charles and Mary Lee Rice, who preceded her in death.

She is also preceded in death by her 2 brothers Victor Rice and Charles Rice Jr., her grandparents, uncles, and aunts.

Growing in East St. Louis, IL she attended school in District 189, receiving many certificates for her academic accomplishments throughout high school. After high school she moved to Sioux Falls, SD with her aunt Annie Lee Vaughn. She went on to nursing school obtaining her CNA license later going for her CDLs to drive trucks.

She had a passion for what she did in life. She looked forward to traveling back home to East St. Louis and down to Scooba, MS to spend time with her family and friends during the summer months.

She leaves to cherish her memory her nieces Tonita Rice, Estelle Hillstrom, Ceveja Rice and Remi Mae Rice; Her nephews Victor Rice Jr., Charles Rice III, Raheem Rice, and Carver Rice; great nieces and nephews; TreVaughn, TreyVell, Kiyan, Maxse, Kameron, Ellie Mae, and Charli; one uncle, Ollie White; and a host of relatives and other friends.
