Traeshonne DeAngelo Blythe, affectionately known as Noodle Leg, 31, of Carbondale, Illinois departed this life on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
He was born January 24, 1993, to Nichole Blythe and Tracy Steele in Carbondale, Illinois.
Traeshonne received his education in the Carbondale school system and later received a certificate in Carpentry. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Norman Greer Sr. at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Trae enjoyed music and animals but more than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his son Keshawn. He was a sweet and loving young man and had a special bond with his mother, Nichole. Trae was always very thoughtful and didn’t mind going out of his way to help anyone he could.
Traeshonne leaves to cherish his memory sons, Keshawn Blythe, and Zakia Simmerman; mother, Nichole Blythe-Fallatah; stepfather, Charles Hughes; brothers, Tshachile and Tshadiyah Blythe and Tracy Steele Jr.; sisters, Ceorda Rowell, Teresa, Tania and Trina McIntosh; grandmothers, Camellia Blythe, and Doris Steele; uncles, Edward and Raymond Blythe, Wendell, Clinton and Kenneth Wooley, Reginald, Henry and Kim Steele; aunts, Brenda Wells, Quincy (Ayana) Blythe, Arrysha Harris, Barbara DeWalt, Norma, Penny, Patricia and Tammy Wooley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; close friends, Matt Jones, Devonte Lilly, Rell Pullen and Robert Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tracy Steele; grandfather Jerome Wooley; uncles Omar Blythe, Marlee Jr., Larry and Danny Wooley, aunts, Henrietta (Sam) Thomas, Marlene “Chell” Blythe, Mary Alice Wooley, JoAnn Cole, Deborah Quinn, Demonica Steele-Henry and special friend Joe Love “Rudy”.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 12:00 noon at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 803 Robert A Stalls Avenue, Carbondale, Illinois with Rev. Darryl K. Cox officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
Professional Services were entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
