Justin David Hauptman

Justin David Hauptman, 46, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2024 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Illinois. 

Justin was born on February 2, 1978 to Theresa Hauptman in Denver, Colorado and was raised by Steve and Theresa Morris. 

He received his education from Fort Lupton High School in Fort Lupton, Colorado. He worked extensively as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed being outdoors, landscaping and sports including playing his video games NBA2K. He loved spending time with his pup Snickers and was inseparable from his daughter, Alison. 

He is survived by his significant other of 10 years, Jamey; his daughter, Alison Hauptman; stepsons, David Catalana, Joseph Catalana, and Treyton Campbell; his parents, Steven and Theresa Morris; brother, Kyle Morris; and his extended family in Colorado. 

He is preceded in death by grandparents, David and Kathrine Hauptman. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m., with a Celebration of Life starting at 11:00a.m., at West Salem Trinity Church, 4212 Broadway St., Mt. Vernon, Ilinois 62864.
