Judy Kay Ellis, left us on March 14, 2025, at the age of 67. She was a devoted mother, a cherished friend, and a guiding light to many. Her unwavering love, wisdom, and support touched the lives of all who knew her.
Judy’s home was a place of comfort and prayer, where family and friends always found an open door and a listening ear. She had a gift for offering kindness and guidance, creating a safe haven not only for her loved ones but for anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Anna Mae Ellis, and her siblings, Willard Ellis, Thomas Ellis, Doris Pizarro, Betty O’Guinn, Barbara Ellis, and Linda Julian.
Judy’s memory will be forever cherished by her brother, Elmer Ellis of Vergennes, Illinois, and her sister, Debbie (Jim) Worthen of Monticello, Arkansas. She also leaves behind her loving sons, Aaron (Mandy) Waddington and their son, Shawn of Lick Creek, Illinois, and Jason Waddington of DeKalb, Illinois.
She will be deeply missed by her lifelong friends, Kim Camden of Dowell, Illinois, and Cindy Johnson of DeSoto, Illinois, along with the many lives she touched with her kindness and faith.
Judy’s warmth, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
Final Arrangements were Lovingly Entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
