Henry Lee Davis Jr.

Henry Lee Davis Jr., known to some as "Big Hen" was born June 6, 1978 to the union of Rosalyne and Henry Davis Senior (deceased) in the city of Detroit, Michigan.

Henry was the third of four children born to Rosalyne. At an early age, he gave his life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was baptized at Evangel Northeast under the leadership of Presiding Pastor Don Karle and Founding Pastor George Bogle (deceased) in Detroit, MI. In his adulthood he joined New Life Vision Ministry under Pastor Dr. Ernestine Harrington Williams.

Henry graduated from Osbourne High School of Detroit. He earned his Associate of Arts Degree from Wayne County Community College District. He was a lifelong learner and was always in classroom furthering his knowledge and skillset. Despite his struggles he strived to live a life of independency. Anything he set out to do he accomplished.

On September 29, 2022, Henry was called from labor to reward. While we are all saddened by this untimely event, we are hopeful knowing that this is not a forever goodbye, but an “until we meet again”.

Henry leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Rosalyne Davis, siblings: Tyrome Walker who preceded him in death, Beulah Walker, Allison Davis- Dollison (Antonio), devoted Aunt Shirley Miller, nephews Corey (Indea), Dorian (Senetra), Brandon, Anthony, only niece Adelin and a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
