Debbie Kay Quinn was born August 1, 1955 in Carbondale, IL to Marlee and Francis (Lewis) Wooley.
She received her education in the Carbondale School Systems graduating from Carbondale Community High School Class of 1974.
Debbie accepted Christ at Olivet Freewill Baptist Church and sung in the choir at an early age.
In 1983 she married Kenneth Quinn in Carbondale, IL.
She worked for Woodruff Management for over 20 years. She also worked in several departments at Southern Illinois University- Carbondale for over 20 years, later retiring from Chick-fil-A in the Carbondale Student Center.
Debbie enjoyed dancing, sewing, and cooking. One of her greatest joys was baking her Strawberry Shortcake. She loved being around her family and friends. She would often kiss your cheek leaving behind her red lipstick. She was known for keeping it real with you, she didn’t mind showing you her altered ego “DaBorah”.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kenneth Quinn; daughter, Angel (Robert) White; sons, Kendall (Jemecae) and Allen (Alexandrea) Quinn; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Derrick) Pierce; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Dewalt, Norma Wooley, Penny Lewis, Patricia Wooley, and Tammy Wooley; brothers, Jerome, Wendell (Cheryl) Wooley, Clinton (Tina), and Kenneth (Susan) Wooley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. A special friend, Margorie “Rebbie” Cole.
Debbie preceded in death her parents, Marlee & Francis Wooley; brothers, Marlee Jr., Danny and Larry Wooley; sisters Mary Alice Wooley and JoAnn Cole; one niece Cynthia Cole-Cobb; one nephew, Omar Blythe.
