Deborah Kay Henson

Deborah Kay Henson was born on December 6, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, to James and Goldie (Ledford) Norris, Debbie passed away on December 13, 2024, after bravely enduring over five years of battling various health issues. Ultimately, these challenges became too much for her body, and she passed away peacefully with the love of her life by her side. Also present were her younger sister, her son, and her granddaughter, offering their love and support in her final moments.

Debbie was a loving and supportive wife, sharing an inseparable bond with her partner for 52 years, 49 of which they spent as a devoted married couple. In addition to being a cherished wife, she was a caring mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and a very proud and loving Mamaw. Her love and dedication to her family were unmatched, and she brought joy and warmth to everyone she met.

Professionally, Debbie served as the bakery manager at Walmart, where her hard work and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on her colleagues and customers alike. Her presence was a source of light to those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all.

Final arrangements were lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
