Dalton J. McCarty

Dalton Joseph McCarty, 20 years old, of Murphysboro, IL formerly of New Athens, IL Passed away November 4, 2024 in Jackson County. Dalton was born in Red Bud, IL on November 11, 2003. 

Dalton is survived by his mother Amber Gregory (Scott Hood), of Murphysboro his two brothers Austin and Cody McCarty both of Murphysboro, One Niece Paisley, His grandparents Ryan and Kristy Chiles of New Athens, Great Grandfather Gene McCarty, His Aunts Amanda Choate (Tyson Choate) their children Peyton, Rylan, and Ayla of Rockwood, IL and Katlin Gabelman (Tyler Gabelman) their daughter Ada of New Athens, IL. Many more Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, And close friends. 

Daltons larger than life personality, humor, and infectious smile will be remembered by everyone he knew, And He will continue to touch the lives of those he loved. The memories that were built will last a lifetime among his friends and family. Dalton will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

He was preceded in death by his great grandma Linda McCarty, and his cousin Libby Bollmann. 

A private service will be held at a later date.

Final arrangements were lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services.
