Brenda Louise Skobel

Brenda Louise Skobel, 60, of Murphysboro, Illinois, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 6, 1964, in El Paso, Texas, to Raymond and Helen Kelley. Brenda proudly served in the United States Army and later worked in the fast food industry. She had a passion for arts and crafts, cherished time with her beloved fur baby, CoCo, and enjoyed watching mystery shows.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Russ Skobel; her children, Raymond and Misty LaFree; three grandchildren; her loving parents, Raymond and Helen Kelley; as well as many dear friends and relatives.

Honoring Brenda’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.

Final arrangements were lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
