Bernice Anna Antrim, 67, of Murphysboro, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of February 5, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1957, in Victoria, Texas, to Leroy and Hildegard (Neuman) Tindle.
On October 13, 2000, Bernice married the love of her life, Tim Antrim, in Paducah, Kentucky. Known for her caring and hardworking nature, Bernice worked as a server at Denny’s in Carbondale, Illinois, before dedicating most of her time to her family and home. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and sharing laughter and love with her family. A fan of Mexican cuisine and a perfectly cooked steak, Bernice found joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Bernice is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Antrim; her daughter, Amber McNeill; granddaughter, Jordyn Tindle; and two brothers, Leroy “Skip” Tindle and Jody Tindle. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Douglas Antrim and Thomas (Rainette) Antrim.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Hildegard Tindle, and her sister, Christina Hale.
In accordance with Bernice’s wishes, cremation will take place, and no formal services will be held.
Bernice will be remembered for her warmth, love, and the beautiful memories she created with those closest to her.
